Restoring Integrity and Truth in Politics
|

Australians need to trust their elected representatives. Trust that they will act with honesty and integrity, and in the public's best interest. But unfortunately, in many cases, they don't.
Helen Haines and I are amongst a group of crossbench Independents who are fighting hard to restore this trust.
The work of the crossbench spans fighting lies and misinformation in political advertising, restoring transparency and accountability in politics, fighting corruption, pork barrelling and more.
Join us over Zoom to discuss the strides that have already been made, and what still needs to be done.
There'll be time for questions from the audience, please submit through the RSVP form at the link below.

There are so many reasons to admire Dr Kerryn Phelps AM. Throughout her career, she has been a changemaker in many domains including medicine, media, politics, advocacy and activism. She has been strident in her activism and has paved the way for many Independent politicians who came after her.
Kerryn has just released her new book 'The Power of Balance' exploring the events and ideas that have inspired her to create change throughout her lifetime. Find out more about her book here.
Join us over Zoom for a discussion on the learning from Kerryn's book, her advocacy and the power of Independents.

Pressing Play on Menopause |
Menopause is something that something that either you or your loved ones will go through in their lifetime. Yet, it is barely spoken about.
Now is the time we have to change that.
Come along to our forum co-hosted by the Royal Hospital for Women with leading experts in women's health where will discuss all things menopause, including myth-busting, breaking down the barriers for open conversation and how to take control of your menopause journey.
This will be a chance to share information, have taboo questions answered and discuss the frank realities of the impact of menopause and perimenopause on women's working, social and family lives.
The best Mother's Day gift you can give to your mother is coming along with her to this event.
I hope to see many of you there.
