Delivering for Wentworth|*Representing our community* and driving positive change in Wentworth

As your Independent MP, I’ve been focused on our community, not on party politics. I’m proud to have helped deliver:

Delivered

  • [/] Transformative funding for Sydney Jewish Museum and Easts Rugby – as part of more than $205 million in Commonwealth funding that over 470 Wentworth businesses and organisations have received since the last election.
  • [/] Bondi’s first ever community battery – helping power 1,000 homes with locally-made clean energy, bringing down bills by up to $200 per year.
  • [/] Wentworth’s first Youth Action Committee – driving action on local initiatives on mental health and financial literacy.
  • [/] A new Wentworth Faith Leaders’ Forum – to coordinate local action to promote community cohesion.
  • [/] $42 million for an upgraded co-ed public high school in Randwick – giving families more choice in public education.
  • [/] Support for the community following the Bondi Junction tragedy – helping our community heal and survivors rebuild their lives.
  • [/] More EV chargers across our area – through federal funding and the incredible work of our local councils.
  • [/] Top electorate in the country for community refugee sponsorship – following our work to promote the CRISP initiative in Wentworth.

Future Plans

I’ll continue to stand-up for your values and be your voice in Canberra – as well as delivering what you want for Wentworth. I’m focused on:

  • A new public high school for the east – inspired by the detailed design vision I’ve developed with architect Adam Swinburn.
  • A mental health pilot program – that helps to better integrate and target local services.
  • Continued funding for Wentworth organisations – to ensure community clubs and organisations continue to thrive.
  • Protect housing density and unique character in Potts Point – and save the Save Selwyn Street Boarding Houses
