My track record:
- LED the successful push to include LGBTQ people in the census.
- INTRODUCED amendments to stop serious vilification of the LGBTIQ+ community.
- STOOD-UP against divisive attacks on LGBTIQ+ people by other politicians.
Future plans:
- STOP students and teachers from the LGBTQ+ community being kicked out of religious schools because of their gender or sexuality.
- PASS laws to prevent the promotion of hatred against LGBTIQ+ people by neo-Nazis and hate preachers.
- CONTINUE to support the community access the services they need, from mental health, to legal support, to gender affirming care
This election, I'm also proud to have signed the Trans Justice Pledge, a public commitment to fight for the freedom and equality of trans and gender-diverse people.
