The 48th Parliament sits for the first time this week and I'm delighted that we've managed to put tax and economic reform on the political agenda.

To kick things off, I'm convening a Tax Reform Roundtable at Parliament House in Canberra this Friday, July 25th.

We’ll be bringing together leading tax experts, economists, business and community voices to start the challenging conversations on what meaningful reform should look like. We have an incredible line up of speakers, contributing to discussions on some of the challenges outlined in my Tax Green Paper. 

I look forward to taking the outcomes from Friday into the Treasurer's Economic Reform Roundtable coming up in August.
