Professor John Daley AM is one of Australia’s leading public policy thinkers. He was the founding Chief Executive of the Grattan Institute from 2009 to 2020, personally authoring over 20 leading reports on topics including institutional, economic, tax, budget and energy policy reform.

John is now an independent strategy consultant. Previously John was a partner at EY Port Jackson Partners, Group General Manager of Strategy at ANZ Bank, Managing Director of E*TRADE Australia, and also worked at McKinsey, the Melbourne University, Oxford University, and the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet.
