Come along with Lynn and Robert to door knock on doors in Queens Park, share Allegra's top policies and achievements and answer questions.
Door knocking is easy. You'll be paired with someone experienced and we'll do briefings before and after at a local cafe or park.
This session will meet beforehand at the Centennial Park Delicatessen, 14 Birrell Street, Bondi Junction, where you'll get a quick briefing, pick up materials and get placed into pairs. Then we'll all meet afterwards for a debrief and a chat.
You will need:
- To register for an account with 'KnockHQ' here, the technology we are using to design maps and log data—don't worry, it's very simple and we can teach you how to use it! If you don't feel comfortable with technology, we'll pair you up with someone who will do the tech and you can do the talking. Also, you'll see a blank screen when you register—again, don't worry, the screen will show street maps before you start door knocking.
- A tote bag to put some materials in that voters may ask for (we will provide the materials).
- Comfy walking shoes.
