Community Strong Australia

On June 25th 2026, I announced the formation of Community Strong Australia (CSA), along with Warringah MP Zali Steggall.

This is a new political party designed to bring the successful community led model to more Australians and more communities across the country.

Wentworth elected me to put community first: to back evidence-based, practical solutions on the issues that matter to this community: climate change, housing affordability, cost of living, childcare, higher education, healthcare and social division.

I was elected to vote for you, not on a party line.

That will not change, as I will continue to have the freedom to vote on what matters to Wentworth.

Community Strong Australia is about extending that opportunity to more Australians, by taking what we've built together and amplifying it into a political force that can have real impact across the country.

What CSA stands for

Community Strong Australia represents a positive vision for Australia's future; one built from the ground up by communities, driven by integrity, evidence-based policy and a belief that better politics is possible.

The new party will support community-backed candidates and parliamentarians in both houses of Parliament who share a commitment to integrity, climate action, economic prosperity, practical solutions and genuine engagement with the people they represent.

  • Evidence-based policy developed with communities, not vested interests.
  • MPs who vote for their community, not a party line. I have a free vote on every single issue.
  • Values written into our Constitution, so they can't be traded away.

Where to next

An application has been lodged with the Australian Electoral Commission to register Community Strong Australia as a political party, with registration expected to be finalised by October 2026. The Constitution we've lodged has been shaped by what this community told us, and the listening will continue.

We're building this from the community up, not the other way around.

This is the beginning of a conversation, not the end of one. I hope you'll come with me on the next stage of this journey.
