The NSW Government has proposed a major rezoning of Woollahra and Edgecliff, centred on the new Woollahra train station. This would create around 9,400 new homes, with towers of up to 34 storeys.
Woollahra Council has put forward an alternative plan for around 3,600 homes. The Government’s proposal is on public exhibition until 5pm Wednesday 7 October 2026.
